PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS

The freedom of choice and the protection from government overreach is what makes land ownership in Texas so special. The security and independence given by the Bill of Rights shouldn't be abused by local government or self-serving officials. The Inner East Loop project threatened that security. Kyle felt it first hand when an early alignment cut through his property. When the alignment was moved further away from his home, he didn't rest. He has proven that he will stand with you and work for you to protect your property rights.

TRANSPARENCY

Transparency has been the cornerstone of the Inner East Loop opposition. Kyle has consistently exhorted officials to engage with the citizens. Brazos County will benefit when we have faith in the process, and in those we elect to lead. That trust comes from transparency. Our local government should operate out in the open for all to see. Kyle knows that greater transparency means greater accountability to the people. That is at the very heart of a servant leader - one that is called to hear, and act on, the wishes of the people.

CONTROLLED GROWTH

We do not have to suffer under unchecked growth and development. Brazos County must develop a strategic plan that preserves our quality of life and conserves our natural resources. Prioritizing the area's rural appeal while controlling organic growth is crucial. Precinct 2 needs a strong leader to actively work with the municipal governments for our best interests - all of the precinct, inside and outside the city limits. Kyle's effective leadership over the past nine months speaks for itself.

Getting control of the pace and scale of the growth in Brazos County Precinct 2 is vital. Preserving what makes it special, its rural aspects with heritage family farms and ranches, is why we have chosen to live here. That was the impetus behind the No East Loop movement. That is now the motivating desire I have to continue serving the people I have fought alongside these past nine months.

I am not a politician and have never run for public office. I am however a businessman with a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M. Having started many businesses, including our current business manufacturing 100% USA made products for the United States military, I know the value of hard work, sacrifice, and stick-to-itiveness.

I strive to be a good steward of everything God has given me - my time, talents, and treasure. I would consider it an honor to serve you, Brazos County, to steward this place we call home.
